We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team in Shimoga. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for design, excellent project management skills, and the ability to create functional and visually appealing interior spaces. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple projects, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely execution of design plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.

  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts.

  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentations using design software.

  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with the projects vision.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Oversee on-site work, supervise installations, and ensure design integrity is maintained.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.Role & responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design projects.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Photoshop.

  • Strong understanding of materials, furniture, color schemes, and lighting.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of cost estimation, project budgeting, and vendor coordination.

Skill Set for Modular Interior Designer:

  • Expertise in modular kitchen and wardrobe designs.

  • Knowledge of modern modular furniture systems and space optimization techniques.

  • Proficiency in designing storage solutions and ergonomic layouts.

  • Understanding of materials, hardware, and finishes specific to modular interiors.

  • Ability to coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for custom-built solutions.

  • Experience with modular furniture installation and quality checks.

  • Strong visualization and detailing skills for modular components.
